Zambia’s boxing posterboy Patrick “Baddo’ Chinyemba romped through to the $75,000 bracket with a well deserved points win over Kazakhstan’s 2021 Asian champion Sabit Daniyal to become the second African boxer to qualify for World Championships semi-finals at the Dubai Sports Complex on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Chinyemba’s higher ring IQ saw him outsmarting and outwitting the Kazakh boxer to make it to the $75,000 money bracket.
The African Games flyweight champion and Paris Olympics quarter-finalist cleverly piled on points on the backfoot to join Mali’s Djibril Traore in the semis.
“I now want to Hasanboy!!” Chinyemba roared from Dubai when I spoke to him on phone.
For a long time now Chinyemba has been baying for the blood of Uzbekistan’s defending world flyweight champion and double Olympic Games gold medallist Hasanboy Dusmatov.
