âȘïž _This time Kombo will do shadow boxing, declares Juma_
A looming rematch between national featherweight champion Kombo âThe Giant Killerâ Mwinyifaki and Chris âScorpionâ Juma will be one of the highlights of the Homa Bay showdown.
Over 50 boxers are expected to do battle in the fifth and final leg of the Kenya National Boxing League from December 19-21 at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay County located some 105km south of Kenyaâs third largest city, Kisumu, and about 420km south-west of Nairobi.
Kombo and Juma met in the final of the Kenya Open at Green Park Hall in Nairobi with Kombo outpointing Juma who is not convinced he lost.
âI believe I won, this time heâll not make it I know his game well, heâll do shadow boxing,â Juma told boxersworld.co.ke
âIâm well prepared for Kombo let him know Iâm the champ,â
Kombo is calm ahead of this looming rematch with the Nairobi County talented youngster.
âI donât have the power to predict anything, I leave everything to Allah,â said Kombo.
âIf he says Iâll be shadow boxing fine, Iâve been doing it since I started boxing my performance will speak for itself but let him prepare for my heavy punches, InshaAllah.â
