Kenya’s teenage boxers Lukeman Shaffi,13, and Sonia Atieno, 16, have landed in Annaba, Algeria, for the inaugural African School Games expected to start today (July 26, 2025).
It was a memorable maiden flight for the excited Kenyan budding boxers accompanied the national team head coach Musa Benjamin.
“It was such a long tortuous journey, we arrived at 2am today tired but happy we’ve landed safely,” Musa told boxersworld.co.ke as he prepared to attend a technical meeting.
