Renowned Mauritian technical official Raj will be the Technical Director for the Nairobi event with Kenya’s Mwangi Muthoga and Cameroon’s Andre Basile Kalong among the International Technical Officials (ITO)
Star-2 Referees and Judges Leila Iddi and Hellen Wanjiku are on the verge of becoming the first ever Kenyan female Star-3 R&Js.
The two polished Kenyan women are among the R&Js earmarked to officiate at the Africa Zone 3 Boxing Championships from October 16-24 at Kasarani Indoor Arena in Nairobi, Kenya.
In addition to officiating, they will also attend a Star-3 Certification Course to be held concurrently with the tournament.
Accomplished Mauritian technical official Godavarisingh Rajcoomar will conduct the R&J Star 1-3 Certification Courses at the same venue.
Raj will also be the Technical Director (TD) of the Zone 3 Championships. Among the ITO’s include Kenya’s longest-serving R&J Mwangi Muthoga and Cameroon’s former Africa Boxing Confederation (AFBC) Secretary-General Andre Basile Kalong.
