Even the commentator was shocked! How on earth did Kazakhstan’s glamour boy Saken Bibossinov win the first and second rounds enroute to a suspicious victory over Zambia’s gritty African Games silver medallist Mwengo Mwale. He expressed his surprise why there was no live scoring.

Mwale was in the driver’s seat in the first and second rounds with perfectly-timed digging body shots and short right uppercuts which time and again tore through Bibossinov’s guard.

A flyweight gold medallist at the 2021 Worlds in which he beat rival Uzbekistan’s legend Hasanboy Dusmatov, Bibo came back strongly in the third round with Mwale – perhaps confident he had won the first and second rounds – not as aggressive as he was but the commentator said with no live scoring it was difficult for his coaches to know Bibo had surprisingly won the first round 4-1 and second one unanimously. Mwale lives to fight another but he has made a clean $10,000.
